Located in Hackney, East London, Legs offers delicious options for lunch, and wine-focused dining in the evening.
Legs opened in May 2016 and is across from the new Hackney Walk fashion centre.
Legs is driven by seasonality and quality produce, with a daily-changing menu. The wine offering focuses on small independent producers, who strive to best represent the land they grow on. Dinner sees interesting plates sympathetic to wine, with weekend boozy brunches.
The design of Legs - a light, organic, casual space - fosters a fun, relaxed environment where visitors can grab a bite during the day or relax with a meal or glass of wine in the evening.
Legs was founded by chef Magnus Reid (founder of CREAM, Rooftop Café, amongst others) and is backed by technology industry veteran Andy Kanter.

The wine at Legs is pretty simple – it’s the wine that we would drink.
We focus on small producers, who care for their land and produce wine that truly represents the terroir. The menu reflects a wide variety of flavour profiles, regions and grapes.
We also offer a small number of small-batch aperitifs and whiskeys.
The name Legs come from common wine terminology: legs are the droplets that form on the inside of a wine glass (the “Gibbs-Marangoni Effect”), where the drinker can tell alcohol or sugar content depending on how fast or slow they trickle to the bottom. The name of course also complements the Hackney Walk fashion hub in which it nestles.
We take a small number of reservations each day (max table size- 6 persons).
