The wine at Legs is pretty simple – it’s the wine that we would drink.
We focus on small producers, who care for their land and produce wine that truly represents the terroir. The menu reflects a wide variety of flavour profiles, regions and grapes.
We also offer a small number of small-batch aperitifs and whiskeys.
The name Legs come from common wine terminology: legs are the droplets that form on the inside of a wine glass (the “Gibbs-Marangoni Effect”), where the drinker can tell alcohol or sugar content depending on how fast or slow they trickle to the bottom. The name of course also complements the Hackney Walk fashion hub in which it nestles.
